The Korina-Pups Yahoo!Groups site is for the extended friends and family of Canine Companions for Indepedence Breeder "Korina" and her pups and Breeder Buddies. The site serves as a way to connect with each other and keep in touch, support each other, share ideas, and track our dogs through their lives in pictures and stories from birth to final placement.

We adopted Korina in October 2001, and she had 34 Puppies in 5 Litters:

• "H" January 26, 2002 (6 pups)
• "M" September 15, 2002 (7 of 8 pups)
• "S" November 17, 2003 (6 pups)
• "P" January 28, 2005 (8 pups)
• "B" September 10, 2005 (3 of 6 pups)

Korina retired after her last litter in November 2005. She (and Kalani, our other dog) still volunteer as a Delta Society Pet Partners Therapy Dogs at our local Kaiser Hospital.

We are currently co-raising Brindy -- Korina's very last puppy #34 -- with our neighbors Hanneke and Mariyet Abuda who are her primary Puppy Raisers. (Photo of Korina and Brindy at the June 11, 2006 Bow Wow Luau - see more photos in the Photo Albums.)

We are enjoying keeping track of Korina's "grand-puppies" from Hilani, Makia, Sashi and Shira. Feel free to continue to post stories, photos and documents related to the Extended Korina pups family and friends.
