A knitting group for moms who are passionate about knitting but can't get out to knitting groups and classes or even the LYS that easily and whose lives are primarily occupied with raising kids. There is a knitting parents group out there, but because of some trolling by older men for information and photos of younger boys, this group is for mothers only.

This is not a religious or nationalistic group, but it is also not a group which will tolerate hostility toward the US (or any other nation) or religion. If this is not alright with you, then this is probably not the group for you. There are plenty of groups that will permit that kind of expression. All discussions, including disputes should be conducted in a respectful manner.

We will attempt to foster a sense of community with questions of the week, knitalongs, some secret pal exchanges and occasional polls with the purpose of getting to know each other better. Sharing of knitting info, project photos, internet links and experience is encouraged and some OT chat is permitted.

This is a non-commercial group, so active selling is forbidden, but a sig file with your business information is welcome and a response to a direct request which is relevant your company is permissible. Swap postings are welcome so long as swap posts are made no more than once per month and responses are taken offlist. We are not responsible for swaps and take no position of mediation for swaps that are not directly sponsored by the group. A rules file will be sent to you on pending membership, please read and reply for membership approval.
