KniTeachers is a friendly place for Hand Knitting teachers to discuss:

-- teaching techniques, materials, their current favorite (or not favorite) classes;

--tips for successful negotiation (as a contractor or an employee) with your LYS or store management;

--how to handle certain students;

--compensation, marketing and promotion ideas;

-- and most of all to support each other as we impart our love of hand knitting to future lovers of hand knitting.

ELIGIBILITY: CURRENT knitting teachers are welcome to join, as well as shop owners who seek to provide the best teaching environment for their customers.

All members agree to maintain a civil tone (no flaming, arguing, or provocative posts---likely to spark an argument), and also that:

NO COMMERCIAL CONTENT WILL BE ALLOWED except by permission of Moderator; and that All posts are subject to moderation/editing for length and style.
