The Most Honourable Order of Christian Knights of the Rose, also known as the Knights of the Rose (CKR), The Most Honourable Christian Order of the Rose, or the Order of the Rose, is the first ecclesiastical order of chivalry established in the third millenium of the Christian Era. The Order was formed 15 January 2001. It received a Papal blessing September 2003 from HH Pope John Paul II and a blessing from HH Pope Benedict XVI November 2006. We are an international, inter-denominational order of chivalry.

According to the International Commission of Orders of Chivalry, we would be called a "self-styled order" in that it was not chartered by a monarch. As an ecclesiastical order, the founding officers felt that Jesus Christ, being deemed the King of Kings, was our fons honourum. You are welcome to accept or reject that premise as you deem fit to meet your standards.

This group site was established as a public forum for members of the Order, those interested in learning more about the Order, and for discourse on the subjects of chivalry and knighthood in general. Persons wishing to join this Group MUST submit a COMPLETE Yahoo profile including name, email address and gender or they will not be approved for membership. Applicants to the Order itself must realize all credentials may be checked for legitimacy, both secular and clerical.
