I have respect for other's views, just not much
respect for someone who supports a journalist that makes
wholly innacurate statements surrounding issues of
sexual orientation (with a subtle agenda to boot), and
then elevates her to the level of "goddess," which is
what is you and others are clearly doing here.
<br><br>I honestly don't know what the conservative
fascination with "idol worship" is. I mean..if it's not
Rush..it's Coulter, or Ingraham..and now whoever this person
is. Can't you guys just be secure in your own
opinions, and not have to be spoon fed by
others?<br><br>I'm leaving and going where everyone knows my
name..lol..<br><br>farewell<br><br>JK
Gee Jack,<br><br>Relax. OK so we admit we don't
have thousands of members (yet). But we did start only
2 weeks ago. Your club is great as an overall
political discussion site but that's not what we are.
Apples and oranges here. <br><br>May I quote from the
founders message on your club:<br><br>"At the same time,
we believe that it's important to exercise a measure
of civility in the forum, and respect for other's
views." <br><br>I think the same goes here. We're glad
you're a member and I'm sure everyone appreciates a
dissenting point of view. Come back often.
BTW..take this from someone who's done the forum thing...PIC is the most active
political forum in Yahoo, and maybe the Internet:<br><br>You guys are dying
here. You need a new angle.<br><br>JK
A couple of nice guys??! These are the MAIN
characters on the most popular TV shows on television!!! It
totally disproves her original point. <br><br>I love your
in-depth analysis on Texas Ranger, and West-Wing. As if
being a "liberal" President somehow automatically makes
you a loathsome, wife beater.<br><br>Follow your
icon. Baaaa....baaaaa (sheep noises)<br>JK
Hmm...let's see here...I havent't seen ER in a
while but I'll try to tackle these...<br><br>Anthony
Edwards--Dr. Mark Greene ER (Divorced, accidentally killed a
patient, not a great father--okay he tries a little but
still) <br><br>Noah Wylie--Dr. John Carter ER (Slutty
and drug addicted or crazy, last I heard)<br><br>Tom
Cavanaugh--Ed Stevens "Ed" (Ed couldnt' BE any nicer. And lo
and behold..he's not gay!) (I'll give you this one.
He's cute, too.)<br><br>Tom Gibson--"Greg" Dharma and
Greg. Married. (And neurotic liberals, too! That show
implies that if he would just listen to wise, liberal
Dharma that he would be better off.)<br><br>Chuck
Norris--"Walker," Walker, Texas Ranger. (That show is
ridiculous!)<br><br>Martin Sheen--President Bartlett, "The West Wing." (Nice
enough guy, but again, openly liberal.)<br><br>Andre
Braugher--Dr. Ben Gideon "Giddeon's Crossing" (Missed this
one--what is this show?)<br><br>There may be a couple of
nice guys on TV, but doesn't it seem a little 'off'
that the only nice ones are openly liberal? Kirsten
should do a follow up article on that.<br><br>And if you
are right, and she's full of it and doesn't really
watch TV, then good for her! TV rots the
brain.<br><br>-LibertyGirl
Apparently, "Kirsten" doesn't as watch much
television as we're led to believe in her article:<br>
<br>Her quote:<br><br>>>Forgetting for a moment the
lunatics at NOW, I would like you to think of everyone’s
favorite medium, the television. When was the last time
you saw a (heterosexual) man positively portrayed on
a fictional TV show? My honest answer would have to
be, "I can’t remember." <br><br>For the most part,
television and other media depict heterosexual men as
loathsome creatures who cheat on their wives and
girlfriends, drink too much beer, laze around while women do
all of the work, and are generally total
a--holes."<br><br><br>Quite frankly, "info-babe," you're 100% wrong. Here are
some nice, heterosexual men, portrayed on
television:<br><br>Anthony Edwards--Dr. Mark Greene ER <br><br>Noah
Wylie--Dr. John Carter ER <br><br>Tom Cavanaugh--Ed Stevens
"Ed" (Ed couldnt' BE any nicer. And lo and
behold..he's not gay!)<br><br>Tom Gibson--"Greg" Dharma and
Greg. Married.<br> <br>Chuck Norris--"Walker," Walker,
Texas Ranger. <br><br>Martin Sheen--President Bartlett,
"The West Wing."<br><br>Andre Braugher--Dr. Ben Gideon
"Giddeon's Crossing"<br><br>I think the "info babe" needs to
go back to the chalkboard.<br><br>JK
Heh heh heh. Good column. I'd probably enjoy
these things more if I didn't have to use Lynx to read
them. (For some reason, politicalusa likes to kill both
IE and Navigator. Curiouser and curiouser...)
<br><br>From what I can see, Miss Andersen joins Ann Coulter
in having their respective Yahoo! Clubs referenced
on their column section. Could there be more in the
works?<br><br>Thanks,<br>Max
Please with that buddy. You have not even met her. She just syas she wants to be
married in the articles because it sounds good. Besides, she is all MINE!!! You
hear me!!
Welcome to the Kirsten Andersen Fan Club. If you
have already heard of Kirsten you can understand why
we started this club. If you haven't heard of her
before, you will. Once our club gets up in membership we
will ask Kirsten to participate in chats with us and
maybe ask for some new pictures. <br><br>Let's get
started with Kirsten's latest column titled: Shrill
Feminists Hurt Their Own Cause which can be found
at:<br><br><a
