This page is designed for the descendants of the Joseph and Sarah Dugger Barker family of Lee County, Kentucky. An annual reunion is held on Barker Mountain every year on the weekend of the Saturday before the fourth Sunday of the month of July in keeping with the tradition established by our grandparents. Our roots other than Kentucky are Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia. All members of our family that can prove lineage to these grandparents are qualified to join several historical and educational societies. Reunion 2009 will be July 24, 25, and 26.
