Art is whatever you want it to be, from painting, printing, drawings, sculpture, poetry, conceptual art, music, film, video, electronic media, whatever. ALL we ask is that you try to somehow relate it to creative thinking or the art community in a positive (constructive) manner.

Another goal of KC Artists is to promote local events. Please, please help us place events on the calendar. When you post an announcement, please DON'T post daily as the members would not appreciate spamming. Put as many events as you want, just be courteous. Having an up to date calendar will definitely be cool. If you post your events CORRECTLY in the calendar, we will all get automated updates (it is pretty cool).

Please promote shows, events, gallerys; however... if it is not somehow art related, PLEASE do not spam this group! You WILL be banned for blatant repeat offenses. BE NICE!

We are still growing, I would would rather grow slowly in a positive way, then just post anything.. so be patient and please share your comments. Any help is appreciated.

Last, please make sure to select the option of bulk eMail when you sign up. It is much easier to scroll through one email (at most per day) than to have to deal with 2-3-10 emails in a day (or more, or less... whatever it may be). I speak from experience on that. Eventually, you may learn how to scroll through it fast and just talk openly on the subjects you find interesting. We by no means expect everyone to have an opinion on EVERY subject.
