We're here to help anyone looking for information on building kaleidoscopes, or wanting to discuss any aspect of design, construction, presentation or marketing. Whether you are an experienced kaleidoscope builder, or a complete beginner, you are welcome in this group. We welcome collectors and retailers and suppliers. If you simply love kaleidoscopes and want to rub elbows with those who build them, you are equally welcome to join us.
Remember our motto, the only dumb question is the one that never gets answered, because it never got asked.
The current picture montage contains work shown by members over the past 2 months. There are miniscopes from Tim (two selected from his edition of 50), Lothar (elegant turned wood exteriors and featuring exquisite micro-lampworked chamber contents) and Frank. Harold's wood oil-chamber 'scope displays his signature 30-60-90 mirror work. Kari presented her "Twin" 'scopes in polymerclay, with contrasting colours both externally and in the image. Frank also showed "Supernova" and the most recent version of "Torus"
You can see these and other pictures of members' work in the various albums in the "Photos" section, also the work of many group members can be seen via the "links" section at #1 - Photo Album Links. (Both of these are in the box on the LH side of this page)
Be sure to visit our sister group, kbkb Shop-n-Swap, if you are interested in buying, selling or trading kaleidoscopes or kaleidoscope parts.
