This is a club for flatwater paddlers (kayak, canoe, rowboat) who enjoy Lake and River paddling in the North Georgia area. Post your message, invite a member to chat. We hope to set up some group activities. If you're going paddling on a No. GA. lake and would like to have someone come along, this may be the place for you to find someone to paddle with. The purpose of the Kayak North Georgia Club is

1- To have a great time paddling together, whether in a kayak, canoe or rowboat on north Georgia lakes and rivers.

2- To practice Leave No Trace paddling and to take time to pick up litter along the shores where we paddle.

3- To share information about this club with other non-motorized watercraft owners: kayaks, canoes, rowboats, etc., and with motorized watercraft owners who inquire.

4- To encourage the use of more non-motorized watercraft on the lakes and rivers of north Georgia.
