This group is intended to be a repository for kayak and canoe plans. SOF, S&G, Strip, etc. plans are welcome. I just opened this group up for discussions about kayak and canoe building, though this is primarily meant to be a repository for plans. Please see the following link for an excellent forum on kayak building.

A friend of mine, Kurt Maurer, built this canoe, a merlin. Very nice canoe, light (34 pounds) and convenient to fish from. check it out at:

Solo Canoe Plans??
Hi, all. Boat fever struck a week or two ago with the onset of spring and heavy pollen. Does anyone have any canoe plans to point me too that are suitable
