Loxi,

I'm assuming your using IE and not another browser ... here goes ...
Go to  Tools > Internet Options
A pop up box will come up.   Look at the very bottom of
the "General" tab and click on "Colors".  From there you can reset
the colors for visited and unvisited links.
(ps - I'm using Windows XP and IE ver6, so your set up may be a
little different)

I was listening to cds in my car a couple of months ago and noticed
Elvis voice was better than any others I was playing.  I then
decided I wanted to know more about him.

I am 60 years young.  Previous to this point in time, I hadn't given
Elvis much thought at all.

Now ,  I can't read enough or see enough or know enough about him.
I have purchased books, checked them out of the library, purchased 5-
6 DVDs, even more cds.  I did have to invest in a wireless head set
because my husband was complaining about the dvd volume at night.
Which is great because I can watch Elvis as long as I wish and as
loud as I want.

(   Anything about Priscilla touches my heart too. )

I hope very little is created about Elvis in the future because I
might  have to take out a second mortgage on our home.

WHEW !  I thought I was losing it and now I know I'm not alone !
I'm on my FOURTH Elvis biography (in 4 weeks !!) and have another 4
or 5 coming in the mail.  I know you cant believe everything you
read so I'm thinking that if a few of these books confirm each other
than at least that part of the story is more likely to be true than
not !

I laughed at the wireless headset line - I bought an iPOD because
(a) I have too many CDs to carry around and hating leaving one
behind and then thinking "wow, I wish I had that third CD from
the "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" set with me and (b) my husband was
getting tired of hearing Elvis.  So now I clip my iPod on, slap the
earplugs in,  and walk around the house ALL DAY listening to him
(ok, occassionally I do listen to some other artists, but not that
often lately LOL).  I've gotten good at lip reading so that I can
see what my husband is saying even when I can't hear him LOL !

I honestly don't know what happened at Graceland, but BOY did it
happen BIG.  He was just one amazing guy (but probably not the type
I could tolerate in a long term relationship - I don't believe he
ever dealt well with relationships of any kind) - but his talent is
off the scales, and of course those good looks and southern charm
didn't hurt LOL

What I'd really love to get my hands on are unediting recording
sessions - to hear the chitchat, the laughter, the experiments, and
the stuff Elvis thought "wasn't good enough" and needed a retake.
What better way to get into his mind and heart ?

Thankfully I'm not alone in my obsession !!!  I feel a little better
(not that I was going to change it !!).

If everything goes right the first DVD will be ready
for release, and on our website for sale by next week.
I'll announce it on here the day it goes up. In fact,
I'm going to try and put a video sample on the website,
so wish me luck. I don't know if I can figure it out or
not, but will try my best.

This is my favorite one. It is an afternoon practice
session, before one of her big performances in 1983.

In it Kathy sings 22 songs. The first half being
country, and the second half a tribute to Elvis, as she
reads a beautiful letter from an anonymous fan she
received right after his death, then treats us to a
wonderful medley of his songs.

I am checking no email for a few weeks as I won't have much time for
the computer. We are having guests here from Dallas for Thanksgiving
and the Kraig Parker show at Boomtown this week-end, then Stanley
and I are going to Tahoe. Be back Dec 8. January will be busy as
well as I will have the book signing at Vernon's former home in
Memphis on Dolan Drive during Elvis week, one in Newnan, GA Jan 22
at Arik Christopher's Legendary show, and then we will be traveling
to see our Kathy in Nevada on the 29th! I wish you all a Blessed
Thanksgiving.

are still worth watching.  As I prepare for Thanksgiving I'll have
Elvis with me in the kitchen LOL

I'm also reading Larry Geller's book, "If I Can Dream".  Its very
well written and you can feel the love and respect oozing off the
pages.

Everyone has been so quiet lately.  Hope all is well.

Robert F.X. Sillerman and Elvis Presley Enterprises Announce
Partnership

December 16, 2004 -- Robert F.X. Sillerman and his new media and
entertainment company, which will be named CKX, Inc., have entered
into a definitive agreement to acquire a majority interest in the
assets comprising the estate of Elvis Presley.

The new partnership will conduct all business activities concerning
EPE, Graceland and tour operations, however the transaction was
structured so that the title to Graceland and its 13.6-acre grounds
in Memphis, TN, and most of Elvis's personal effects remain with Lisa
Marie Presley.

The new partnership includes all trademark rights to the name,
likeness and image of Elvis Presley and all EPE-owned intellectual
property, including its collection of photographs, archival documents
and footage, and EPE's successful music publishing catalog, as well
as the Graceland visitor center complex and Heartbreak Hotel across
the street from the mansion and all other EPE real estate
investments.

In a related transaction, Mr. Sillerman announced that he expects,
through an affiliated entity, to acquire approximately 94 percent of
the common equity of Sports Entertainment Enterprises, Inc. [OTC
BB:SPEA.OB], an inactive publicly traded company, through which the
business of CKX will be conducted. Please see Mr. Sillerman's and
SPEA's releases for further information on this transaction.

"For the past few years I've been looking for someone to join forces
with to expand the many facets of EPE, to take it to new levels
internationally, and to make it an even greater force in the
entertainment industry," said Lisa Marie Presley, singer/songwriter
and sole heir to the Elvis Presley Estate. "I feel confidant that Bob
Sillerman and his team are the right people to do this with. My
greatest responsibility to my father is to preserve and protect his
legacy, and this is an exciting new structure that opens up an
incredible array of opportunities with a major infusion of new
investment capital to do just that," continued Presley. "It's the
ideal partnership in that I retain Graceland and my father's personal
effects, yet joining forces with Bob Sillerman will give us the
opportunity to grow even further the intellectual and entertainment
properties."

Commenting on the transaction, Mr. Sillerman said, "I am extremely
excited about our new venture, which we believe will bring unique
concepts to different aspects of the utilization of entertainment
content and will challenge the current models of distribution and
consumption of content. I am fully committed to the success of CKX
and there is no better way to launch our new company than by assuming
the opportunity and responsibility, together with the Presley family
and the current management of Elvis Presley Enterprises, of
continuing and expanding the heritage of Elvis Presley. I believe
Elvis to be the single most significant icon in American pop culture."

No staffing or personnel changes are anticipated within the EPE
organization. Priscilla Presley remains as an executive consultant,
Jack Soden remains as CEO and Gary Hovey remains Executive Vice
President and head of the Los Angeles office. All of EPE's management
team and staff will remain in place and Graceland tour operations
will continue with business as usual.

EPE was created in 1980 by Priscilla Presley on behalf of the Elvis
Presley estate. Its business extends far beyond the Graceland
operation. It includes worldwide licensing of Elvis-related products
and ventures, the development of Elvis-related music, film, video,
television and stage productions, the ongoing development of EPE's
Internet presence, the management of significant music publishing
assets, the Heartbreak Hotel in Memphis and more.

Mr. Sillerman was the founder, a major shareholder and served as
Executive Chairman of SFX Entertainment from its inception in 1997
until its sale to Clear Channel Communications in August 2000. SFX
Entertainment was the largest presenter, promoter and producer of
live events in the world. Prior to that, Mr. Sillerman was a founder,
major shareholder and served as Executive Chairman of SFX
Broadcasting, a major owner and operator of radio stations, from its
inception in 1992 through its sale in 1998 to an affiliate of buyout
firm Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst.

Just a reminder that there's only three days left on the "Special

Also mark your calendars, if you'll be in the Nevada area on January
29th, Kathy will be performing at the Saddle West Casino. I talked
to her last night, and she plans on doing songs people can dance too,
as that's what they enjoy her doing the most, (me too after seeing
the Alaska DVD, she`s really great with both Elvis and Country hits).

She's such a versatile singer. I've never heard a song yet, she
couldn't sing with the best of them.

I'll be at both shows so if you plan on going, give me a yell and we
can plan on "meeting up."
