According to her
representative she had
the babies on October
7, a Tuesday, by C-
Section at 2:46 p.m.
Sorry I misspelled
Finley. One baby
weighed 5 lb. 15 ozs.
and the other one
weighed 5 lb. 2 ozs. I
looked up the names in
my names book and both
of them are listed as
boy's names. I do know
that when there is a
weight difference like
these twins, sometimes
the doctors will go
ahead and do a C-
Section because it
means that one twin is
getting more nutrients
than the other which
puts the smaller one at
risk.
As to why she named
them Finley and Harper
only she knows at this
point and it hasn't
been reported yet.

Good morning everyone. Hope that you are having a great and safe weekend so far. I put my name in some temp services and now my unemployment is screwed up again. I got a letter saying that I have a job with one of them when in fact that I don't. So tomorrow I am going have to get it straightened out so I can get the unemployment. I hate this because you have to put your name in these places in order to get a job. Anyway have a great and safe day wherever you are at.
There will be a new Elvis stage show during the holidays for all
Elvis fans to look forward to, which is currently being cast:
Cirque du Soleil presents multidisciplinary shows combining circus
arts, acrobatics, music, singing, dance and theatre. The Cirque du
Soleil productions Saltimbanco, Alegría, Quidam, Dralion, Varekai,
Corteo, DELIRIUM and KOOZA are big-top touring shows, whereas
Mystère, "O", Zumanity, KÀ and LOVE (in Las Vegas), La Nouba (in
Orlando), Zaia (in Macau) and Zed (in Tokyo) are resident shows
presented in theatres. Wintuk (in New York) is a seasonal show,
presented during the Holiday season.
In the next two weeks, we will be casting ACTORS and ACTRESSES – we
are NOT looking for acrobats and circus performers, but rather
trained, serious actors.
Name of show: Elvis City Center
It is a show about Elvis and his musical heritage presented at the
City Center in Las Vegas in 2009 and directed by Vincent Paterson.
Just sharing. I will be off today for awhile. I am taking my aunt to get a test done. It will be out of town and will take most of the day. Don't know when I will be back probably later this afternoon or early evening. Please say a prayer for her. Thank you. I would also like to add thank you for all of the shares that everyone is sending. They are awesome.!! And I snagged quiet a few of them. Anyway be safe and have a great day.
Yes, that's true with Elvis' middle name & Gladys' maiden
name...except it sounds like a boy's name to me, especially with the
male spelling of "Aaron." Erin is generally the spellig for a girl.
Are we sure she had 2 girls, and not a girl and a boy?

I have a question maybe someone can answer. We were listening to Elvis sirrus radio yesterday and the song promised land came. Was wondering who the oringnal singer to this song was? Was it chuck berry or some country singer? thanks
Warning to all dog owners - pass this on to everyone you can. Last Friday evening, I arrived home from work, fed Chloe, our 24 Lb. dachshund, just as I normally do. Ten minutes later I walked into the den just in time to see her head inside the pocket of Katie's friend's purse. She had a guilty look on her face so I looked closer and saw a small package of sugar-free gum. It contained xylitol. I remembered that I had recently read that sugar-free gum can be deadly for dogs so I jumped on line and looked to see if xylitol was the ingredient. I found the first website below and it was the one. Next, I called
our vet. She said to bring her in immediately.
Unfortunately, it was still rush hour and it took me almost 1/2 hour to get there. Meanwhile, since this was her first case, our vet found another website to figure out the treatment. She took Chloe and said they would induce her to vomit, give her a charcoal drink to absorb the toxin (even though they don't think it works) then they would start an iv with dextrose. The xylitol causes dogs to secrete insulin so their blood sugar drops very quickly. The second thing that happens is liver failure. If that happens, even with aggressive treatment, it can be difficult to save them. She told us she would call us. Almost two hourslater, the vet called and said that contents of her stomach contained 2-3 gum wrappers and that her blood sugar h ad dropped from 90 to 59 in 30 minutes. She wanted us to take Chloe to another hospital that has a critical care unit operating around the clock. We picked her up and took her there. They had us call the ASPCApoison control for a case number and for a donation, their doctors would direct Chloe's doctor on treatment. They would continue the iv, monitor her blood every other hour and then in 2 days test her liver function. She ended up with a central line in her jugular vein since the one in her leg collapsed, just as our regular vet had feared. Chloe spent almost the entire weekend in the critical care hospital. After her blood sugar was stabilized ed, she came home yesterday. They ran all the tests again before they released her and so far, no sign of liver damage. Had I not seen her head in the purse, she probably would have died and we wouldn't even had known why.
Three vets told me this weekend, that they were amazed that I even knew about it since they are first learning about it too. Please tell everyone you know about xylitol and dogs. It may save another life.
I'm doing much better, thanks Patricia. I should be talking to Kathy one day this week, so will give you a full update on her as soon as possible.

Tamara was such a delight; together she and Sue had a wonderful website of all Elvis music including information on when and where the song was recorded. Both ladies died of cancer within a year and a half of each other. Both will be missed.
