Speaking of external drives though Loxi, even they "lock up" or something. As of a week ago I can't find my external drive and I have a lot of important things of Kathy's on it. I'm sure it's till there, I just have no idea where.

Computers, can't live with them and can't live without them.

Hi Barry,
Thank you for thoughts of helping.  Yes, as luck would have it, I do have my hard drive and the technician I found was able to retrieve everything except my email files that I hadn't moved to a safe file.  I learned a lesson there!  What a awful feeling that was!!!!!!!!!  The tech transferred my files into a "loner" but it's small [ 40 ]  so I can hardly wait to get my new "140", wow can I have fun with that,.  I have so many photo's of my paintings on my computer that I need to be able to use again and they are also saved........The tech also made a back up of my hard drive, in case this happens again and I'm not as lucky, he also mention a external hard drive that is available.
Is it possible that they, email files, might be on my hard drive after all?
Sorry for the chatter, I didn't mean to go on so much.
Thank You,
Loxi

Loxi,

It's possible that you DIDN'T loose everything.  I am sure it is retrievable.  But me being here, I can't help you.  What did you do with the old crashed computer?  If I can help you let me know.

Barry
Hi Everyone,
Well, my computer up and died on me and I'm getting along with a loner for now.  I lost all of my files with phone numbers, addresses, birthdays and anniversaries.  I do have the same email address.  It's asking a lot but if and when you have the time could you resend them to me?
Thank You,

I'm fine Loxi, thanks for asking. I've just been busy trying to keep warm, like everyone else, tossing my two bottles of Peter Pan Peanut butter (anyone else have the bad ones ?) and really looking forward to taking the cruise to the Bahamas with Kathy in April, which I hope a lot of you are going on with us. http://www.kathywestmoreland.us

On Kathy and Elvis, anyone that knows Kathy, knows that what her and Elvis had was true love, and not what I'd consider an affair. They truly loved each other, in every sense of the word.  Kathy still
tears up, when she talks about Elvis. She still loves and misses him so much and it's evident in everything she does.

Hi all, Hi Janice, June knows that it wasn't an affair and I know because Kathy told me so quite awhile back and what they had in those precious years will keep Kathy going for the rest of her life.
June, How are you all doing Hon?  I feel like I've been away for months instead of a few weeks.  And yes, wasn't that a great episode of Vegas!!!,

Welcome Paula. Kathy had so many wonderful memories of being with Elvis. Hopefully you'll get a chance to see her perform one day. She puts on a great show.  It's hard to picture her as a solo act until you see her. She's got the charisma, talent and looks, "still" going for her, all rolled up in one tiny little package.

My take on the following e-mail I received:   WOW!!  Who would have known it??  Feeling sorry for Cilla. We love Kathy too but sorry, I didn't know who the high voice belonged to in many of Elvis's recordings until a few years ago.  Thnx for the information.  Smiles, Betty J Taylor

For such a beautiful young Southern girl to have had the good
fortune of achieving fame so young, I think she is a disgusting role
model for young girls. It appears she will do anything negative and
over the top to stay in the news. Isn't she the least bit concerned
about her image in regard to her children, which she could lose to
her ex-husband or the Dept. of Social Services?

Well, I am looking over the some hilltops in Tennessee as the sun shines brightly in the western sky & listening to Elvis' America!!  This is the heart of America and you think you've got chills! Tell me about it. Facing Memphis and listening to this, I'm chilled and warmed in my soul at the same time. God bless you AMERICA.  Pray for the two Christian students from Ohio who went to Nashville on an event and was hit by a cabbie who is a Muslim man. He's in jail with a large bond on his head. The one boy who was physically attacked by that Muslim is in serious condition at Vanderbilt. God bless you son for standing up for America. Our first victim?? I wonder how much more we'll suffer as Christians!! We've always suffered haven't we? Thank God for Elvis's music and for his rendition of America the Beautiful. I loved it!  God bless America. Elvis's America, your America, and my America.

When people ask my husband what Kathy's really like, he answers "tiny" which is why I said it, that's just the first thing that comes to mind. It's no wonder Elvis always introduced her as the "little girl with the beautiful high voice". Actually I think she's 5'1" but she's not only short, but also a very "tiny" person, and just as sweet as can be I might add. She's a bundle of energy though, and really a fun person to be around. You'd never know she spent all those years working with Elvis, Bobby Darrin and hundreds of others, as she's totally down to earth.

The best way to give you an idea of how tiny Kathy is, is the photo I have of her and my husband Don together. He's 5'11" and was bending down for the photo, while she was standing on tip toes. http://www.myspace.com/jhitsoftomorrow http://www.myspace.com/jhitsoftomorrow

The Salt Lake Mall murders were performed by a Muslim also. There are
a number of these incidents happening all last year all over
America...The Muslims claim it's not jihad and explain it away with
mental problems and other things...Karen Christian has sent me a
number of publications that prove the attacks are being done on
purpose, due to a clerics proclamation...It's time for America to
wake up...the enemy is among us...

One reason I admired Elvis was his loyal service to his country,
never forgetting where he had came from. I believe he would be very
upset with the view of the Muslim cowards who take inocent lives in
our country in the name of their religion. Elvis had respect for life
of all those and served when his county called. He dedicated loyality
was in his music and dedicated to this world and his country of
freedom of expression, even as his own style was controversial in his
beginnings. It would be difficult to have complete security at one of
his concerts today! How our county has changed...

So you'll be the first to know, I'm heading to the website to post
this advertisement now from Elvis Unlimited.

Don't forget if you can't make it to Denmark --- we still have room
on the cruise to the Bahamas. Kathy's going to be one busy lady in
April.

Elvis Unlimited is very proud to announce that "the little girl with
the beautiful high voice" Kathy Westmoreland will be special guest at
our next shows in Denmark in April.
Kathy sang soprano for Elvis on stage and during recording sessions
from August 16, 1970 until his last show on June 26, 1977.

You can easily hear her beautiful high voice on songs like Something
and Hawaiian Wedding Song.

Before Kathy joined the Elvis show did she work with the Metropolitan
Opera in New York City. She also performed with Bobby Darin in the
late 1960's.

In 1987 did Kathy publish her book Elvis and Kathy. In the book does
she describe her very close relationship with Elvis.

Kathy haven't done any Elvis shows in Europe for the last ten years.
This will be a unique chance to meet and she her perform with the
great TCB Band.

Kathy will be at the following two shows in Denmark:

April 6 in Svendborg, Denmark (Tickets can be ordered at
Fynsbilletten +45 7554 2071)
With the TCB Band, Lasse Helner, Steen Jørgensen & Maarten Jansen

April 7 in Randers, Denmark (Tickets can be ordered at Værket in
Randers +45 8913 5110) With the TCB Band, Lasse Helner, Steen
Jørgensen & Maarten Jansen

The tickets prices are between 329.- Dkk. and 349.- Dkk.

June, will you be going to Memphis for Elvis week in August?
Are any other group members planning on going? Is Kathy going to be
there speaking at any conferences attended by Elvis friends? It would
be nice if we could designate a place and time to all meet up there in
Memphis, so our group members could meet face to face!
