Indian Development Foundation (formerly Indian Leprosy Foundation) is a
leading national voluntary organisation committed to health, education and
development of India.
The Reach-Out Programme conducted regularly for the past 21 years helped
in substantial reduction of social stigma among the public about the disease.
The citizens distributed flowers, fruits and gifts to the patients and wished
them Happy New Year. Leprosy patients on this occasion get the happy feeling
that they are considered part of the society and that there are kind-hearted
citizens in this great city who care for their welfare.
