We would like to develop a list of locations in cities in India where people can donate books, magazines, CDs, VCDs, DVDs, etc.
If you are an NGO / school / college / library / hospital or even an individual interested in receiving these, please send us the following details:
1. type of books you are interested in e.g. text books, inspirational books, etc.
2. location where books can be dropped and timings for dropping
3. email ID and contact details
4. what will be done with the donated books e.g. use for a reading room, distribute to patients in hospital, sell to raise money for beneficiaries, etc.
5. a single-line statement that would motivate people to donate books to your organisation
We will compile this list of organisations and locations and circulate it with an appeal for donations.
If you are willing to volunteer to be a Collection Centre where people can drop their books, etc., and from where specific NGOs can collect the donated material in a couple of days, please let us know.
