Vacancy Announcement- Executive Director
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Executive Director of the Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability (CBGA), New Delhi. CBGA is a non-government organisation seeking to promote transparent, accountable and participatory governance and adoption of pro-poor government budgets through in depth research, sustained policy advocacy and capacity building activities. Eligibility: The applicant should be a committed and experienced scholar/ development professional/ social activist with a strong people-centred perspective and familiarity with analysis of government budgets. The applicant should have the ability to work with a team, lead a team of young professionals, extensive networking skills and the willingness to work in collaboration with peoples' organisations, civil society organisations, policy makers, media and academicians. Responsibilities: The Executive Director would report to the Board of Trustees. She/he would be expected to strengthen the existing team and raise resources for the organisation. She/he would be responsible for conceptualising and implementing the research, advocacy and capacity building programmes of the organisation, overall management of all operations and supervision of the work of all staff and consultants. She/he would have to translate the vision of the organisation into concrete programmes and activities. Remuneration: Remunerations shall comply the scale of pay given to a University Professor.
