I am pleased to inform you that I received a email form Shri.Geshe Beri
Jigmey Wangyalji, MP (In exile-Tibetan Parliament), official biographer of
His Holiness The Dalai Lamaji, appreciating our conference and informing me
that His Holiness is quiet likely to attend our conference and will
inaugurate it. This will be the very first visit of His Holiness to the
state of Goa.

We are receiving overwhelming response for the International Indology
Conference to be organised between 7-10 February,2007 at the Kala
Academy,Goa (www.kalaacademy.org ). The theme of this conference is "Ancient
Wisdom Brought to Modern Times-Pathway to Higher Consciousness". This is the
very first International Indology Conference, to be held in Goa. Kala
Academy, a premier centre for Performing Arts and Culture is the host of the

We are expecting around 750 delegates at the conference. Around 45 speakers
will be presenting their scholarly papers on various aspects of Ancient
Indian Wisdom. This apart many excellent papers on Vedic Science,
Vastushastra, Ayurveda and Music etc have been prepared by our delegates to
be published in our International Indology Journal.

Gunjan Foundation, New Delhi, Chinmaya Mision, New Delhi, Hindu American
Foundation, Florida,USA, Vedic Society, South Africa are few of our

Renowned Documentary Film maker Ms. Jesal Thacker from Mumbai is producing a
documentary on the conference.

 

We are also organising an International Indology Book Fair from February 1-10,2007, wherein we will be displaying books written by our speakers as well many other authors/Publishers/Charitable and social organisations are displaying their books. We are accepting books on 40% bookseller's commission and we will be offering 25% discount to general public.
