                           ... a workshop on Egypt. Explores the art, craft and music of the country and helps develop approaches to school projects.

 

        28th Dec - And his nose grew and grew...

                          ...uses humour in a contemporary version of Pinocchio to explore language and self-expression though discussion, cartooning and illustration

 

     29th Dec –The Very Responsible Birds (The VRBs)

                        ... through excerpts from Oscar award winning film, The March of the Penguins, children learn about the lifestyle of these birds in the Antarctica

 

       30th Dec - The West African Story

                               ... children feel the colour and vigour of West African life and civilisation through a story entitled: The Blind man and The Hunter

 

       3rd Jan - Who is Grandmother Corn?

                        ... through this story, children explore the art, games, stories, craft and culture of the Native American civilisation and create works of art and totem poles together.

 

         4th Jan  - Children without Borders
                             ... through a Cree story, The Curing Fox, children learn the essence of humanism and co-existence

 

      5th Jan  - Vincent and his colours!

                               ...children develop a fascination for the life and style of the painter and get mesmerised for life!

 

      6th Jan  - Sarak sarak sar sar

                     ….through a folktale from Madhya Pradesh children learn to use sounds and language for creative expression.
