Draft Agenda
The objectives of citizens, resident associations, ngo's, volunteers, etc. getting together are several:
a) Citizen Groups and NGOs need support from more citizens for various civic and social issues in and around Colaba.
b) Problems and possible solutions should be identified and listed along with details of whom to contact and how to resolve the problems.
c) Accordingly Focus Groups of about 5 people should be formed for each issue.
d) Further plan of action of each of these groups and of the overall group of interested citizens should be planned e.g. meeting on every 3rd Friday.
e) Registration as a Local Area Citizen Group to be considered (I will bring summary copies)
f) How Strand Marg Residents Association will interact with other Colaba / Cuffe Parade groups to be thought through.
Agenda:
1. Self-introductions
2. Each person talks briefly about problems and suggested solutions (no one to react) (one person to note all)
3. Accordingly list of Issues i.e. Focus Groups be made.
4. Who to contact for each be discussed.
5. Focus Groups be formed -- one leader + 2 people for each.
6. One Group to be formed to study the Local Area Citizen Group Charter and whether to register under it or not.
7. Overall Core Group to be formed
8. Which are other Citizen Groups in Colaba / Cuffe Parade / Navy Nagar and how to interact with each?
9. Meeting dates and venues to be fixed e.g. 3rd Thursdays at SMRA hall like today.

well-wishers for the area should meet once a month. The meeting of the
Colaba NGO group, scheduled to be held on the third Friday of the month,
could not be held for some unavaoidable reasons.
The same is being held on Friday, 22 September 06 at about 4 30 pm at the
venue as below:
