It is 22nd September 2006, and it's Rose
Day again, a day ear marked by Cancer Patients Aid Association to bring cheer, happiness and smiles to cancer patients in all major cancer treatment centers all over the country.
It is a very special day when the general public takes time out from its busy schedule and flocks towards cancer hospitals to meet the patients, to share with them, to give them gifts, toys and roses with personalized "get well soon" messages, saying that they care. On this day, in Bombay alone about 5000 cancer patients are greeted with the roses by the general public, film stars, sports personalities in 33 different cancer treatment centers, lodges, hospitals and dharamshalas.
Entertainment programs are organized at all treatment centers for the patients in the form of film shows, orchestra, parties for children and bhajans, ensuring that this day
is a special day for all our patients.
As in previous years, ward distribution will be on 22nd September in the visiting hours for all those patients who are admitted in hospitals and treatment centers.
For us to be able to achieve this and make this into a memorable day for all our patients we need your assistance in kind, in person and above all in the form of sponsorship for the following:-
