Aga Khan Health Service India is an International Non Government Organization which is providing preventive, promotive and curative health care in developing countries of India, Pakistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Syria. It includes 6 general hospitals, Aga Khan University Hospital in Pakistan, 6 maternity homes, 167 health centres.

 

We are looking for an MD (Preventive Social Medicine) with around 5 years of experience in Community Health Programmes. The person will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be required to travel frequently within Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.

 

The job responsibilities will be as follows:

 

1)Advise and assist the CEO in respect of all technical aspects of the development and implementation of the Community Health Programmes and in the planning, organising, directing and monitoring and evaluating all aspects of community health.

 

2)Support the various project and regional staff in technical areas such as clinical quality and medical referral systems

 

3)Plan and oversee activties pertaining to Health Management Information Systems(HMIS), report writing, research projects and quality assurance systems.
