Kaps 4 Karing is a group founded by Nancy Overland in December of 2002. It had a goal of giving something back to the community and started out as a small localized group.

We have grown by leaps and bounds and are a great group of ladies who make caps and lap quilts for chemotherapy patients and all sorts of baby items for local community hospitals. We also have grown to the point that we are now taking international requests to help people. We would love to have you join our group and share your talents with others.

Most chemotherapy patients lose their hair as a result of their treatments and they often feel self conscious when in public. They also lose a great deal of body heat through their heads. The caps that we provide are a way to boost their self confidence and self esteem and give them a tangible reminder that someone cares about them. The lap quilts are donated to help keep their legs warm during treatments.

The baby items are donated to local community hospitals to help show love and support to the families of premature babies and critically ill children.
