KANGHWA-DO VETERANS
WELCOME HOME

The purpose of the Kanghwadovets Yahoo Group is to preserve the memory of our service in the Army Security Agency (ASA), on the island of Kangwa-do, Korea, with the 226th USASA Operations Company - and its predecessor and successor units - during the period of 1956-1976.

We meet on-line, and at national reunions throughout the country, to share those stories, recollections, photographs, songs, and documents that constitute the history of the Kanghwa-do Mountain Men.

So, if you were a Mountain Man of Kanghwa-do, come visit with us a while. Meet some old comrades and share your photographs, stories, and memories with us. You will find that you are among brothers here - welcome home.

You might want to begin your tour of the site with an overview of our magificent island and its magical mountain [ISLAND] or with an overview of the Company area [Base Camp] In any case, be sure to review the FILES, PHOTOS and LINKS tabs on the left for interesting items that are sure to jog your memory and warm your heart.
