This listserve is run by Justice for Migrant Workers, J4MW, which is based in Toronto, Ontario and Vancouver, British Columbia. Our group was founded to promote fair and just working and living conditions for Mexican and Caribbean migrant farm workers in Canada. Now we work with migrant workers from countries all over the world who are brought in to work under the Agricultural Stream of the "Low Skill Workers Program". We are committed to the rights of all exploited migrant workers and to end the criminalization of non-status peoples in Canada. This listserve is a space for the dissemination of news and events pertinent to the cause of migrant workers' rights, specifically in the North American and Caribbean contexts.
