I am not sure where you are but if you are in the US there are some
Japanese book stores that may have it for example Kinokuniya and BookOff
or even the very originally named Honya where I am now. I checked the US
bookweb for kinokuniya and they did not carry it on the website but a
store may have it.  BookOff is a used book/manga/game/music/movie store

I can usually find most interesting manga series in BookOffs


Regarding ebay they have some but it seems to be mostly early volumes
which is not what you need.

I didn't really know I was a big Urasawa fan
till I read "Happy!" But much of it is
unavailable! And the publishers are not
responding to my queries. I've tried book
distributors, comics sites, and ebay, and
no luck! Anyone know where to buy copies of
"Happy!"?

For those not in the know, it's the series
Urasawa did after "Yawara," and it wasn't
as popular, but it did feature the same skill
with storytelling and illustration, though
some might have felt it was less appealing
because the main character, Umino Miyuki,
was so unlikely to ever succeed against the
mounting odds.

Anyway, I'm partway through the story (having
found much of it posted online), and right
smack in the middle of the conflict, in full
epic-fail mode, holding out hope the heroine
will prevail... but nobody has the manga!

As you know Ai-chan is stepping down from the owner role in this list.

projects in real-life, so I found my position as owner of this group
more  tiring than it should.

I have a deep love for Yawara, and would like to leave this group in
the hands of someone who has time to moderate, improve and promote it
more and better than I'm doing at this time.

A little late but...

As you might expect with Yawara being licensed Live-eviL dropped
Yawara straight away. Please do not distribute our fansubs anymore due
to it being licensed. Our torrents were deactivated on the day of
licensing.

We encourage everyone to support Animeigo to buy Yawara when it's
released!

Since I'm from Poland it's not good at all for me that Yawara is being
licensed now. 57 stunning episodes and what should I, poor addicted fan from
far Europe do? Wait for Animeigo releases? Still more and more reasons for
buying 'region-free' DVD-player ;)

Hi,

I just wanted to ask what people thought of the World Cup arc so far
in Yawara?. (This question is addressed to people who haven't watched
all of it raw).

The tension seems to be building tremendously towards a dramatic
conclusion :O. Does Yawara get any better than this?
