The Judeo-Christian Homeschool Resource (JCHSR) has been formed to provide resources for parents who recognize that American education was founded and built upon the Judeo-Christian Scriptures (the Bible) and for those who wish to connect with each other for support, constructive dialogue and social development.

The co-moderators of this group are an observant rabbi and an evangelical pastor from two midwestern states in the U.S. Those who are invited to apply for membership in this group are Jews or Christians of any level of observance, from anywhere in the world.

Please Note: As the day to day posting within this group may include airing potentially sensitive topics, we ask for members to exercise graciousness and wisdom when dealing with someone who has a differing viewpoint. Abusive posters will be removed from the group solely at the discretion of the moderators.

Welcome topics for discussion would include (but are not limited to):

• Restoring a true perspective on the U.S. founders' religious outlook
• Reviving early American educational materials which are no longer available in the public sector, which contain overtly religious references
• The religious relevance of American holidays to their Judeo-Christian root system
• Hebrew and Greek study and what part they have played in early American education
• Cultural exchange ideas, such as field trips to learn about Jewish cooking, traditions, lifestyle
• An examination of the root system of Christianity and the shared text of the Bible
