Description

The "Joy of Harmony" discussion group exists for the discussion and further understanding of how to live and be a parent (grand-parent, neighbor, friend, teacher, preschool teacher or childcare provider) with HAPPINESS, POWER, and WISDOM.

In our culture today, terms like "being a loving parent," "attachment parenting," and others, though coming from compassion and desire to parent appropriately, are not completely bearing the fruit of happy, growing, independently social children.

Instead, many parents ignorantly train their children to be "victims." Living as "victims" propogates depression, dependency, improper seeking for "control" and, inevitably, greed and war.

This site exists to bring the ancient ways of compassion and wisdom back into balance in our modern society. This balance is appropriately called "LOVE." Parenting based on true LOVE (a balance of compassion and wisdom) fosters happy, empowered parents; happy, empowered children; and a happy, empowered society with no desire to harm or infringe on others' free will.

Truly LOVING parenting works in the present and for the long term. May we each REJOICE and parent with HARMONY and JOY. Today and always.

Additionally: Although I sincerely value each and every individual on the planet and enjoy learning from them and their experiences, I have set up this discussion group to dispense the understanding that I have learned regarding truly LOVING our children and ourselves. Please do not take offense or try to assert your personal viewpoints. (Create your own discussion group for that. :-) )

Your sister in true love,
Kimberly
