Greetings members of the SJC Community.

This is the unofficial bulletin board/email list for the St. John's College alumni community. It is for announcements and queries, not discussion, hence it is the "Xpress" of johnny email lists. It is a planet-wide bulletin board for the SJC community. It replaces the unofficial alumni bulletin board at http://www.charm.net/~bfant/johnny/bulletin.html.

We keep this a low volume email list in order to reach a large group of johnnies.

Examples of appropriate announcements/queries to the JohnnyXpress:

Moving to a new city--looking for area johnnies/alumni chapter/contacts. I need a job/job opening at my co.
Anyone know of a good lawyer/doctor in my area? Hey, I'm in a show/movie/exhibition (or) hey I had a book published--check it out! Looking to get book published/play produced/business plan funded--anyone know a producer/editor/angel/venture capitalist? Whatever happened to johnnie doe, class of '__, A/SF? Seeking missing johnnies class of ___ for reunion. Announcing alumnae chapter get-together...Have a research question--would anybody know any experts in such-and-such a field? It's a girl/boy! Johnnie Doe, 6 lb, 7 oz. Liberty Tree cannot be saved--will be chopped down in an 8am ceremony next week.
Psst...I heard the Student Instruction Committee to replace Hegel with Matt Groening. Anyone know if this is true?
The johnny alumni email list on charmnet is having an online seminar on such-and-such a book. Etc.

This is strictly for announcements and brief queries--No rants or idle conversation allowed. If you are up for conversation, we ask that you take it elsewhere--specifically, the johnny list or the johnny2 list.
