Exists to help the jobshop and homeshop metalworkers and machinists solve problems and answer questions about: CNC/PC-CNC/EMC controls, retrofits, industrial electronics, trouble shooting and repair, DIY machine tools for metal and wood chipmaking, foundry practice, welding, programming, quoting, fixtures, repairs to equipment, operating and shop related issues.

Straying off topic is tolerated as long as we can all learn something practical from it.
