Who is JIK?
JIK is an International Interdenominational Christian Organization started in 1993 at and by students of Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda, East African; with a sole purpose of reaching the un-reached with the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The group, originally simply called JIK Missioners, and one of the many such Christian Mission groups at Makerere University earlier targeted for Busoga region (Jinja, Iganga and Kamuli). The ministry vibrantly grew and soon became Jesus is King Ministries International; patronized by Dr. Mrs. Florence Muranga one of the Dons at the Unviversity.
This is a unique ministry; any one who comes to it, never remains the same. University students have literally been changed themselves by ministering to the lost with JIK.

The Ministry Activities
There are prayer meetings every Thursday in Mary Stuart Hall Prayer Room at Makerere University from 5:00to 7:00 p.m, prayer meetings are also on every Tuesday at the Ministry head office from 5:30-8:00pm. We also hold one secondary school StudentsÂ’ conference and JIK Easter camps every year, JIK interfaces every 2nd Saturday of the Month
Every End of Semester, at team of at least 60 students goes out for a one weeks gospel mission to one of the remote areas of East Africa. We Visited Bitereko-Bushenyi from 31stMay-8th June 8(Report is already out on line!!and see above caption for some of the Missioners!),
