Dear friends this is my last majalis of these series. Thankyou for listening to
me for four
days. In sura neher Allah says that surely Allah is He who has brought you forth
from your
mother's womb and you were illiterate. He gave you the power to hear and a
beating
heart. In return just thank Allah, this is all He desires.
Without doubt it is Allah who has created you in your mother's womb. Without
doubt it is
Allah not your parents. The parents are but a means of Allah's will. Allah
commands thank
Him and thank your parents. Now ponder on the honor and position of your
parents. Allah
said thank Him and then right away mentions thank your parents.
A person said that he wanted to repay his debt to his parents. He went to the
prophet. The
prophet said that if you ran in between safa and marwa for your entire life and
do fasting
for your entire life then you will be unable to thank your mother for one pain
she
withstood when you were born.
Allah then says that He gave us eyes ears and heart. The eyes are free and there
is no
restriction on how they can be used. See that which you like that which your
heart desires.
You will not be questioned about these here but on the day of judgment you will.
You will
be asked what did you see on the day of Ghadeer did you not see Ali on the
hands of the
prophet.
The ears are also free and you will only be asked in the hereafter did you not
hear the
prophet say man kunto moula on the day of ghadeer. Man listens to that which he
wants
and forgets that which he wants. Most claim that they did not hear the
declaration of
Ghadeer. These muslims claim that they heard the prophet whisper in the ear of
his dying
uncle to become muslim. This is not an authentic hadith. When I ask the muslims
where
did the prophet whisper and they say in the house of Abu Talib. Can anyone dare
to enter
the house of Abu Talib while Ali was still alive? If I asked them was Abu Talib
sitting or
standing. He was lying down.. Where was the prophet at his head. The one for
whom the
prophet comes at the head of the deathbed then this person is saved from
hellfire right
away.
Did the prophet whisper? Yes he did. There is also another hadith that says the
prophet
told his uncle that the prophet would not enter heaven until his uncle entered
it first.
The Quran says that only few thank Allah. You do not thank Him enough. Allah
then said
keep thanking and He will increase His blessings. What does this mean. Will you
get 4 and
then 8 ears or more ears? If man gets more eyes then he will not remain human.
This does
not mean the increase in blessings instead you will be on the earth and will
hear and see
the things of heaven.
An incident that happened 600 years before the prophet at least 600 years.
Suleiman went
and the king of the ants commanded the ants to save themselves. This is in the
Quran.
Suleiman picked up the ant king in his hand. A small ant in the hand of a
prophet. A small
a very small ant. This happened 600 years before the prophet. The muslims
remember this
ant who is so small but they do not remember the big Ali in the hands of the
prophet.
Go to any country. There is a duplicate and an original for everything in the
marketplace.
Man is one thing from outside and another from the inside. If instead of the
true
representative of the prophet there is someone else. I have seen in India that
there are
crossroads. At every crossroads there is a policeman. He wears a particular
uniform. His
job is to manage the flow of traffic. He signs one side to stop and they have to
stop. He
then signs the other traffic to move on. I thought that if I sign to the bus
driver he does
not stop what is special about this policeman that he is able to stop traffic. I
then went and
bought a uniform for myself. One day the policeman was busy in the burial of a
close
relative and I made use of this chance and ran into the intersection. Then I
stood there and
the passers by did not who I was. I was not trained to manage traffic and due to
my
mistakes there were many accidents. I was not trained on how to manage the
traffic. The
traffic flowed and there were many accidents. They said who is this guy. I ran
from there
and as I was running I threw my uniforms. I met a wise man and he saved me in
his house.
The crowd then asked the man did you see a man run this way. The man took a few
steps
forward and said that as long as I have stood at this spot I did not see any one
run in this
way. Then I said to this man that if you were not here today I would have been
destroyed.
These sentences are recorded in history. Imam Ali said as long as I stood here I
did not
see anyone run.
Going back to my story I should have learned my lesson. Greed is a powerful
thing and I
envied this person. All good deeds are being performed thorough him and I wanted
to do
these good deeds. He had two dresses, one day he left his house and I dressed
myself in
his clothes. A man knocked at the door and I answered the door. The man said
come and
recite the Quran at my house. I walked with him. The way the ulema walk is
different. He
saw that I am not walking in that manner and had a suspicion about me. I was
made to sit
in his house and was given the Quran and had I read the Quran I would have done
so. I
held the Quran upside down and 'read'. He said the Quran is upside down and I
said I am a
hafiz. The man had a doubt and went in and asked his wife and she said be quiet.
He fell
asleep right away. Who would dare to talk back to his wife?
When my prophet went into the house of a wife she said that your breath smells
of
maghafil. He said no it isn't. This was ummul momineen now she cannot be wrong
in the
eyes of some muslims. The prophet said that he had eaten honey. When he said
that he
had eaten honey she should have become quiet. The prophet said if you say so
then I will
make honey haraam on me. Gibraeel came and said that you do not have the right
to make
anything that Allah made halaal haraam. This means that Allah has a watchman on
everything the prophet says. If anyone says that the prophet said something
wrong then
such a man is a liar. If the prophet became a 'camel' for his grandsons then
Allah should
have sent Gibraeel right away to stop him should He not? Allah should have said
I made
you the greatest prophet and you are a 'camel' for Hasan and Hussain? The fact
that Allah
did not stop the prophet means that Allah wanted the prophet to be the 'camel'
for Hasan
and Hussain.
There are many categories of mothers. In India also there is a mother- the
mother ganges.
She is the 'mother' of all indians. They throw so much money into the ganges.
They put
money and dead bodies into the ganges. However when the ganges is its limits
there is
peace. When the river exceeds its banks there is a flood and thousands die then
this is no
longer a mother and kills many of her children by drowning them. Thousands die.
This is
what happened in the battle of the camel. The battle of Jamal at least 90,000
died in this
battle.
The real moulana came home and saw his missing guest and the missing dress. He
asked
his wife and she was not able to tell where he was. Did you send him to the
market to buy
dates? No she did not. There are at least 72 places in history that this person
said that if
you were not there I would be desroyed.
A man went from sham to medina and asked where is the representative of the
prophet?
He was asked to go to the court and he said he never saw the prophet in court.
There were
silken curtains and the man said this cannot be the representative of the
prophet. He said
salaam I am from sham with the treasures of the prophet. He said answer the
questions.
He said Allah is a light what is the direction of this light. He was whipped for
his trouble.
Then as he left the real representative was waiting. Abu Zarr and Salmaan went
to look for
him. Salmaan caught this man and brought him to Imam Ali. There was a broken
down
house and Imam Ali said I was waiting for you. He said Salmaan make him wait and
I will
return. Imam Ali went in and came back with a light and put it in front of the
man and said
is your question answered. The man said I have not asked you yet. Imam Ali said
that I
answer questions before they are asked. Did you not ask that Allah is a light
where is He,
look at he lamp is the light not everywhere. Similarly Allah is eveywhere.
The declaration of Ghadeer was in front of 150,000 men. Allah spoke strictly
with the
prophet in the sura of ghadeer. All the work of his message is useless unless he
gives the
message of Ghadeer and if he conveys this message then religion is perfected
otherwise he
did not do anything.
Salmaan was asked to give the azan. He said for the first time Aliun Wali Allah.
The
companions ran and said he has increased the azan. The prophet said this is the
azan that
Gibraeel gives in heaven. The prophet did not stop Salmaan from giving such an
azan then
who can stop us.
The prophet then commanded Ali to make a minbar. The sun was hot and burning. It
was
as though flames were coming out of the sun. Ali got up and collected things to
make the
minbar. Ali called Abu Zar and Salmaan. He looked at the 150,000 men and their
'rides' or
their camel. At least 50,000 camels perhaps. Imam Ali sent Salmaan to the old
camel in
the back and bring its saddle, he then sent the companions to bring 13 saddles
to him.
Why did he pick these particular camels. He took the saddle of particular men
who were
known to run in different battles. Today they will be unable to run. The minbar
was made
and the prophet went on it. He gave a long speech there at least lasting 90
minutes. He
then says do I not have more right on your souls than you do yourselves. He then
called Ali
and picked him up so high that his armpits were seen. The prophet cannot be seen
and all
could see Ali alone. When the moon of the messenger sets then the sun of Imamat
was
rising. He raised Imam Ali up high. Then the prophet said man kunto moula wa
haaza
Aliun moula. For whom I am moula for them Ali is moula. Then the ayat was
revealed
today I have perfected religion and complete my blessings. If this was not done
then the
religion of Allah would not have been perfected. Without the wilayat of Ali all
the salaat
fasting are of no use. The one who rejected the wilayat of Ali was destroyed. A
man said
that oh Allah punish me I reject the wilayat of Ali. He was a companion of the
prophet and
did salaat fasting hajj etc. He was given the punishment of a kaffir. How is he
kaffir. The
one who rejects Ali is called a kaffir in the Quran. The man said that if I am
lying give me
the punishment of the kaffir and was punished right away.
The prophet returned. The ones who gave allegiance to Ali on that day the same
men had
a burning fire brand in their hands.
Shibli Noomani said in the book Al Farooq. There were a lot of men with burning
fire
brands in their hands and the burnt the house of Bibi Fatima. The princess of
the prophet
was crushed between the door and the wall and fell unconscious. The baby whom
the
prophet had called Mohsin died in his mothers womb. She became old and had to
use a
staff to walk. She was but 18 years old. She was crying all the time for the
death of her
father. She said that I was troubled so that if such trouble fell on day then it
would
become night.
Bibi come to karbla and see what happened there. After Ali Asghar was buried
they took
him out of the grave and cut his head off in front of his mother. We are the
answer to
Fatima's prayers we were created to cry for Hussain.
In the prison of shaam the command was given to free the prisoners. They saw
some
camels with saddles on them approaching. The camels were to take them back. The
saddles were there to protect the hijab. Zainab ran toward the prison she said
that my
hijab was taken off on the way from karbala. Zainab ran to the grave of sakina
and said
get up my daughter lets go tell your father I didn't leave you alone in the
prison.
Rabaab does not want to leave shaam. She said that oh my princess you will meet
your
husband in medina who do I have one is buried in karbala and my daughter in
shaam.
Rabaab was asked to leave by Imam Zainul Abedeen she said that Rabaab will never
sit in
the shade.
Zainab left for Medina. Umme Kulthoom called Basheer and said go recite poetry
like your
father did before you. Tell them oh people of Medina this is not a place to live
any more. A
few kids were killed in karbala the rest died on the way from karbala to shaam
by falling
off the camels in the hot desert.
Basheer went forward saying the marsiya he saw an old man with a small boy at
his hand.
The small boy said look it is the flag of my father. The child ran and called
the man with
the flag. Basheer ran with the boy and recited his poetry. As the bibi heard
this she looked
at najaf and said my son Abbas did not honor me. Basheer told ummul baneen that
your
son was killed first. She was told his hands were cut first. She said oh my son
Abbas when
he fell from the horse on the hot desert he did not have his hands to break his
fall.
Zainab came to Medina. Bibi Fatima is here now. Zainab is going into her house
they are
doing matam for all in karbla but she does not cry for her own sons Aun and
Mohammed.
Abduallah came to the Imam of the time and sits with Zain Ul Abedeen. Bibi
Fatima is
looking at you right now at least make your faces sad if you cannot cry.
Abdullah was asked by the Imam why do you not ask anything. Abdullah said that
since
karbala I am alone at home tell your aunt to come home sometimes. Imam Zain Ul
Abedeen
then got up to go into his house crying. He said that oh my aunt your husband
comes
daily and today he was crying that he is alone at home go home sometimes. Zainab
cried
and said oh my son today I will go home. Zainab put a black chador on herself
and said
Abdullah called me today if he asks where are Aun and Mohammed what will I tell
him.
Zaianb's hair were white and walked with the aid of a staff. As she stepped into
the house
she saw the small beds and she cried oh my children and she sat in the courtyard
and
started to cry. Oh my children were murdered in Karbala. Abdullah came and saw a
lady
with white hair crying in the courtyard. He said oh bibi why are you in my house
crying in
this manner. Zainab said oh Abdullah look at your wife Zaianb do you not
recognize me.
She said are you going to ask me how you sons fought Abduallah said how did
Hussain
die. Zaianb said he said when he was being killed oh my shia. He was destitute
with none
to help him when he was being killed. Abduallah stepped forward and held his
wives arm
and said please come inside the house. Zaianab said leave my hand Abdullah. She
said my
hands were bound and my back has whip marks on it. Abdullah went into the house
and
pulled his sword out. He said I sat here Zainab I am going to sham to seek
revenge. Zainab
ran to Imam Zain Ul Abedeen and he ran bare headed to his uncle. Imam told his
uncle
Abdullah are you ok, he said yes I am but I am going to seek revenge for the
daughter of
Ali. Oh uncle you heard and this is your state ask me I saw the whole event
unfold in front
of my eyes-----.
