Jewish Genealogy Interest Group of Dallas

Mission Statement

The Dallas Jewish Historical Society hereby establishes the Jewish Genealogy Interest Group in order to make the concept of l'dor v'dor a reality in our own lives by linking who we are today to our personal family histories and the history of the Jewish people, whether in Dallas, or throughout the world. The Interest Group shall:

• Stimulate interest in Jewish genealogical research
• Educate those interested in how to pursue Jewish genealogical research
• Provide a forum for mutual exchange of information to those already involved in Jewish genealogical research

The first thing you should do is to click on Post (to the left) and write a note introducing yourself to the group. You should include where you live, what your genealogy research areas are, how long you have been researching, and what information or family members you have been able to find, as well as anything else you would care to share with the group. After this, you can click on Messages (to the upper left or below) to read the latest messages or post your own messages. Click on Files to see family trees, photos, or to upload information that you wish to share!
