JEWEL is a women’s group of the Resource Center Dallas dedicated to empowering women within their community through community involvement activities and social opportunities. JEWEL focuses on increasing the well-being of all women, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. All women are welcome. May 11 - JEWEL Wine and Dine Event - Dinner at Ming Place China Bistro - Fine food, fine wine, fine desserts, fine conversation, What could be finer? Come out and enjoy a delicious meal at this Chinese restaurant.

May 15 - Tuesday- Jewel Lesbian Fiction Book Club – Author Anne Laughlin will join us by skype at book club to discuss her exciting story, RUNAWAY. P.I. Jan Roberts is in a race to find a runaway girl before the girl leads Roberts back into the danger of her past. Will this end in tragedy for the runaway and Roberts? We meet at Ilume from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. There is parking available on the street, but watch for the No Parking signs.

May 22 - JEWEL Writing Discussion and Exchange - Join us every 4th Tuesday as we discuss a different aspect of writing. have a mini writing exercise. We will discuss what worked, what didn't, how we can improve. Opportunity to read and discuss works that you have written and works that your fellow JEWEL women have written.
