Description
Our feature quilt is one I made for my cousin in December of last year for a wedding present. Her father passed away suddenly about 2 month before she
got married and I used some of his jeans in it as well as her new husbands and hers and her brothers. The pattern is a basic Rail Fence using 5 x13 inch strips to make 12 inch blocks using a light blue, dark blue and black denim. I backed the quilt with flannel in a leopard print and added a pocket to the back just for kicks.
The group is for anyone making a jeans quilt or interested in making a jeans quilt or any other projects from denim. I got the denim bug over 6 years ago and just love recycling them into beautiful quilts. I would love to share resources, patterns, cutting & planning tips or just friendship !
