2.  ALERA MAP POSTERS ARE NOW ON SALE

Priscilla Spencer, illustrator of the Codex Alera map, has made 18"x24" posters
available for sale!  "Standard" maps are $17.50, and domestic orders placed
before December 17th will arrive before Christmas.  Priscilla is happy to sign

3. FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDITIONS AUCTIONED FOR CHARITY

Ever been curious to see what Dresden looks like in Hebrew, Russian, Chinese,
French, Dutch, and more?  Want to help out some folks in need?  Julie Woodman is

benefit Truman Medical Center's Behavioral Health Futures program which provides
mental health services to children and families.

Did you all enjoy our April Fool's Day prank yesterday?  We posted a
"press release" detailing a series of absurd changes for the "Fool
Moon" graphic novel and announcing a new spinoff series: "Li'l Harry
Adventures."  Sharp-eyed fans may have also noticed that the "Ghost
Story" cover art in the Jim-Butcher.com header was replaced by a photo
of Nicholas Cage in "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," and the legend on
Harry's tombstone was swapped with a "Buffy" reference: "He Saved The
World A Lot."

Don't worry, it was all a joke!  We have no intention of deviating
from the source material.  The whole Dynamite Entertainment graphic
novel team remains committed to reproducing Jim's stories as
faithfully as possible.

There's been some confusion about the rules as laid down by Barnes &
Noble for Jim's signing tour. Turns out the confusion is because there
are different rules for each location! We just got the update from
Jim's publicity team, who are fresh to this discovery as well (too
late to give the word about the Atlanta signing -- our apologies).

Here's what we know about this coming week:

8/1, McLean, VA at Tyson’s Corner: A recent B&N receipt for any of Jim
Butcher’s books is required to join the signing line. Passes handed
out at 5pm.

8/2, NYC, NY at Tribeca: The first 200 customers to buy GHOST STORY at
the store get guaranteed seating, all others are standing room. Passes
handed out at 10am.
