2000 Was the author's centenary and 2003 was the 70th anniversary of the book. 2007 Is the 70th anniversary of the 1937 movie.

Of all his titles, LOST HORIZON has remained the most popular. It was not only timely, but its message that mankind must change its course or at least slow down to avoid more destruction has remained even to this day timeless.
