Samudghat:
The action / process of extending soul ( atma-pradesh ) for a
purpose is called samudghat. It happens without leaving the existing
body and for a very short period of time. Based on different type of
purpose, it is categorized as follows:

1.Marnanik Samudghat:
------------------------
- When the soul is desperate to know its next birth
- Atma-pradesh extends itself, touches the place of next birth
and comes back into existing body
- It is possible in case of soul's next birth is already
decided ( Ayushyabandh has already occurred before its wish to know
next birth)

2.Kashay Samudghat:
---------------------------
- Due to aggressive passion ( Tivra Kashay ) , When a soul (
person ) X is angry on soul Y and soul X has intention of
killing/hurting/beating soul Y
- X's atma-pradesh touches the body of soul Y and comes back.
- Person Y may be hurt/killed/beaten OR there is no effect at
all.
- There is no rule that due to this action it will 100%
hurt/kill or fulfill person X's intentions.
- The max. limit of X's atma-pradesh to be extended /going out
is 3 ( three) times the body of person X.

3.Vedana ( pain )Samudghat:
-----------------------------------
- In case of severe pain, it happens to cure the disease
- When a severe pain starts due to some disease ( pap-karma
uday of the soul ) , Muni/Sadhu/Mahapurush extends his atma-pradesh
into forest, mountains, himvan, ramyakvan ( different types of
places ).
- Muni/Sadhu/Mahapurush having knowledge of a medicine (
jadibutti / plants which cures the disease ) extends atma-pradesh and
touches the medicine at remote places which cures disease / removes
the pain
- Here, there is no rule of touching such medicine that cures
the disease. If it cures the disease, punya-karma is responsible for
that person ( Muni/ Sadhu/ Mahapurush ) and sata-vedaniya karma uday
is responsible. Mostly it happens that way. ( cures the disease )

4.Aharak Samudghat:

- To solve any doubts/queries in Tatva
- Bhavlingi Muniraj with access/availability of riddhi (
Special powers ) only can do such actions
- In case of any doubt in tatva, a white colour, male shape
statue (body) from his head of approx. 1-foot height will go near
kevali bhagwan or in Samovsaran and after solving the query comes
back into his original body via his head.
- Original body is Audarik Sharir and the one which comes out
of his body is Aharak Sharir ( There are 5 types of body/Sharir -
Audarik, Taijas, Karman, Vaikrayik, Aharak )
- Sometimes if Muni/Sadhu wants to have darshan of
jinalay, same action can happen to fulfill the wish.

5.Vaikrayik Samudghat:

- To increase existing body, to increase body-parts OR to make
multiple body
- Process is called ViKriya that is possible in 1. Dev 2.
Naraki 3. Muniraj having vikriya-riddhi ( one type of many
riddhi/powers ) 4. 63 Shalaka-purush can also have such riddhi ( 24
tirthankars, 12 chakravari,9 Narayan, 9 Balbhadra and 9 prati-narayan
= 63Shalaka-purush that exists in every Chauvisi )
- E.g. A Dev X doing a vaikrayik samudghat can make whole
country, states, cities, forest, mountains, houses, shops, birds,
animals, rive, ocean etc. a living world. Each one contains Dev X's
atma-pradesh. It can do multiple processes in all different places.
- Mostly for Jain-Dharma prabhavna

6.Teijas Samudghat:

NOTE :
1 gau = 6 miles = 9 kilometers
1 Yojan = 2000 gau = 12000 miles = 18000 kilometers
- There are 2 situations. 1.Due to extreme Karuna-bhav (
sympathy towards living-beings – Shubh-Bhav ) 2. Due to extreme
passion ( tivra kashay – Ashubh-bhav)
- Muni/Sadhu only can initiate such action
Situation 1 = Shubh-bhav

- A staute of taijas body comes out from RIGHT shoulder along
with atma-pradesh
- Max. size of status = 12 Yogen ( measurement unit in Jainism )
- Area of coverage of effect = 48 gau
- E.g. Some place there is a situation of draught, wide-spread
of diseases etc. and there is a death of many animals/human-beings, a
Muni/Sadhu having such riddhi initiates Taijas samudghat that cures
the disease/removes pain/improves situation and comes back into
original body
Situation 2 = AShubh-bhav
-------------------------
- A staute of taijas body having RED colour comes out from LEFT
shoulder along with atma-pradesh
- Shape of the statue is similar to wild-cat with max. size of
status = 12 Yogen length, very small at front and 9 Yogen wide at the
back
- E.g. If somebody is hurting/teasing/beating a Muni/Sadhu
without any reason ( kind of upadrav ), Muni/Sadhu having such riddhi
( power ) looses its temper ( which is weakness of an individual in
Atma-purusharth or Sadhana/Tapasya ) and forgets vows of Ahinsa/Non-
violence of all living-beings and initiates such action
- Above action destroys everything ( city/houses/animals/birds
etc in the effective range ) and comes back into original body
- Muni/Sadhu also dies at the end of such action and due to
extreme kashay, next birth is 7th Narak ( Hell ) that has ayushya of
33 sagars to be in pain ( Details Narak-Gati )
- E.g. Pandav Puran – Dwipayan Muni did such thing and
destroyed DWARKA

7.Kevali Samudghat:
---------------------------
- Sayogi Kevali ( 13th Gunasthan ) is the one who destroyed 4
Gati-Karma
- 4 Aghati Karma ( Vedniy,Nam,Gotra And Ayudhya ) is left out
to be destroyed to become Ayogi Kevali ( Siddha )
- Now the life-time ( Sthiti )of above 4 Aghati-Karma is
different. At the end of Ayu-Karma, of the life-time (Sthiti ) of
other 3 Karma is more than Ayu-Karma, Kevali Samudghat happens to
make life-time ( Sthiti ) of all 4 Aghati-Karma EQUAL
- So at the end of Ayu-Karma ( last moments = time is equal to
speaking Om ), all other 3 Karma also destroys and will liberate the
soul to Siddhalay.
