Hail Jah Ras TafariI am glad that the Kansas
Rasta festival went well. One things troubles I. How
can it be a Rasta revival? to revive someting, it
must 1st be dead or unconscious. Rasta is neither of
these things. I & I must remember that word sound have

continually."<br><br>This chapter deals with the building of Noahs ark and
of the great flood. Jah became disgusted with what
man had become. He saw them as being evil to the
core. <br><br>v.9 "...Noah was a just man and perfect
in his generations, and Noah walked with
God"<br><br>v.10 "And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and
Japheth"<br><br>v.13 "And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is
come before me; for the earth is filled with violence
through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the
earth."<br><br>Jah then instructed Noah on how he wanted the ark to
be built. He also commanded him toi take his sons,
his wife and his sons wives, as well as two of every
living thing.

his chapter concerns the generations of Adam and
Eve. It also speaks of Noah and introduces
him.<br><br>v.29 "And he called his name Noah saying, This shall
comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands,
because of the ground which the Lord hath
cursed."<br><br>v.32 "And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah
begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

ve concieves Abel(keeper of the sheep) and Cain
(tiller of the ground). As time passed, the brothers
brought forth offerings unto the Lord. Cain brought fruit
and Abel brought a handful of flock. The Lord had
respect for Abel, but not for Cain.<br><br>v.4-5 "...And
the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
(5) But unto Cain and to his offering he had not
respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance
fell"<br><br>While they were in the field talking, Cain slew his
brother Abel. The Lord punished Cain by cursing the earth
and drove him out from the face of the earth. Cain
pleaded out of fear for his life and then the Lord said
that<br>v.15 "And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever
slayeth Cain, vengence shall be taking seven fold. And
the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him
should kill him."<br><br>Cain and his wife than
concieved Enoch. Afterwards, Cain built a city and named it
after his son. The chapter than tells about the
generations of Cain.<br><br>In v.23 Lamech states that he had
slain a man and therefore his avenged death would be
seventy-seven fold. <br><br>v.25 "And Adam knew his wife again;
and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For
God, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel,
whom Cain slew."

his chapter is about how the serpent convinced
Eve to eat the forbidden fruit from the tree of
knowledge.<br>Genesis 3:5 "For Jah doth know that in the day ye eat
thereof, then your eyes shall be as gods, knowing good and
evil."<br>Jah then cursed the woman with conception and
childbirth...<br>Genesis 3:16 "Unto thy woman he said I will greatly
multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou
shalt bring forth children; and he shall rule over
thee"<br>Genesis 3:17 "...cursed is the ground for thy sake; in
sorrow shall thou eat of it all the days of thy
life"<br>Jah then made clothes for them to wear.<br>Genesis
3:22 "And the Lord said, Behold, the man is become as
one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he
put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of
life, and eat, and live forever."

apologize for not keeping up with this, I have had a couple of problems through

so while man slept, Jah took a rib from him and

t is said that we should read a chapter a day to
learn more about how Jah wanted us to live. I will post
a summary every day about each chapter. Once a week
we can have a chat if you like. Genesis chapter one
is about the cration of the heaven and earth. On the
first day Jah separated the heaven and the earth, as
well as the day and night. The second day he created
heaven. On the third day he created the earth. "And earth
brought forth grass and herb yielding seild after his
kind...!(Gen. 1:12) On the fourth day, Jah created the day and
night as well as the signs of seasons, days and years.
He created animals on the fifth. He created man on
the sixth. "So Jah created man in his own
image..."(Gen 1:27) This is a very important basis to notonly
the Rastas, but to every way of life or religion.

lessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, not standeth
in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
