Nice observations Zach. It has been many years since I read Esoteric Astrology so I hadn't made the connection with DK's comments on the Jewish race. It's interesting that he also mentions Virgo, and that its opposite--i.e. Pisces--is the cap-stone of the JW Israel pyramid. The sign Cancer is the cap-stone of the Greek pyramid--i.e. the opposite of Capricorn. (See below.) In the Jacob's Wheel system the modern nation of Greece has the following configuration. "Greek independence from the Ottoman Empire was proclaimed at Epidaurus on January 13, 1822 GC (January 1, 1822 JC). This day stands for the birth of modern Greece." [From: http://www.astrologyweekly.com/countries/greece.php ] This date places the birth of modern Greece within the 147 year cycle of Sagittarius... Sagittarius (cycle)...7th Sept, 1679 to 7th Sept, 1826. (147 years) [See the attached mandala.] The particular 7 year phase (of that relatively long cycle) in which the nation of Greece was proclaimed was governed by the sign Cancer. Cancer (phase)...7th Sept, 1819 to 7th Sept, 1826. (7 years) This Cancer phase occurs on the 7th spoke of the Sagittarius mandala. The other two archetypes occupying the 7th spoke (i.e. along with Cancer) are the Moon and Mars. So the birth pyramid for Greece looks like this... GREECE .............Can ............./.\ ............/...\ .........../.....\ ........../..Sag..\ ........./.........\ ......Mars_________Moon Interestingly, the birth of the USA on the 4th July, 1776, also occurred (within this Sagittarius cycle) on this 7th spoke, but on the previous arc of the spiral (i.e. within the same mandala). USA .............Mar ............./.\ ............/...\ .........../.....\ ........../..Sag..\ ........./.........\ ......Moon_________Can Thus, the emphasis in the USA pyramid is on Mars, while in the Greece pyramid it is on Cancer, but both nations are bringing the Sagittarius archetype (in one form or other) into manifestation during the course of their history. The first Australian government was formed on 1st Jan, 1901, and therefore its birth occurred during the current World 147 year cycle of Aquarius. (See attached mandala.)... Aquarius (cycle)......6th Sept. 1973 to 6th Sept. 2120. (147 years) It happened in the Mars 7 year phase (i.e. on the 4th spoke) of that cycle, so the Australian birth pyramid looks like this... AUSTRALIA .............Mar ............./.\ ............/...\ .........../.....\ ........../..Aqu..\ ........./.........\ ......Moon_________Ven Like the USA, the cap-stone archetype for Australia is Mars, but Australia is bringing into manifestation the Aquarius archetype, whereas the USA (like Greece) is working to manifest Sagittarius. As you can see, the Moon archetype is present in all three pyramids--Greece, USA, and Australia. I am not sure if there is a seven ray connection with the Jacob's Wheel system, but because the Jacob's Wheel mandala is fundamentally based on the number seven I am inclined to think that perhaps there might be. There is a lot more investigation needed in regard to this possible linkage. If the link does exist it hasn't jumped out at me as being obvious, but it may exist at deeper and/or subtler levels. (EPI 394) The personality ray, the material form ray of the Jewish people, is the third ray.  Their egoic ray is the first.  Their astrological sign is Capricorn, with Virgo rising.  Mercury and Virgo play a prominent part in their destiny.  These clues should suffice to give to the advanced student and astrologer those salient points which will give him light upon their strange history.  Because of this third ray influence, you have the tendency of the Jew to manipulate forces and energies, and to "pull strings" in order to bring about desired ends. As a race, they are natural law makers, and hence their tendency to dominate and govern, because their egoic ray is the first.  Hence also the constant appearance of the goat in their history, and their teaching about the virgin mother who should give birth to the Messiah.   DK here suggests the Messiah for the Jews may be the Master Jesus (RI 705) It may interest you to know that the Christ has not yet decided what type of physical vehicle He will employ should He take physical form and work definitely upon the physical plane.  He waits to see what nation or group of nations do the most work, and the most convincing work, in preparation for His reappearance.  He will not, however, take a Jewish body as He did before, for the Jews have forfeited that privilege.  The Messiah for Whom they wait will be one of Christ's senior disciples, but it will not be, as originally intended, the Christ.  Symbolically, the Jews represent (from the point of view of the Hierarchy) that from which all Masters of the Wisdom and Lords of Compassion emerge:  materialism, cruelty and a spiritual conservatism, so that today they live in Old Testament times and are [Page 706] under the domination of the separative, selfish, lower concrete mind.   But their opportunity will come again, and they may change all this when the fires of suffering at last succeed in purifying them and burning away their ancient crystallisation, thus liberating them to the extent that they can recognise their Messiah, Who will not, however, be the world Messiah.  The Jews need humility more than any other nation.  By humility they may learn something of value as well as a needed sense of proportion.  They are dear to the heart of the Christ for—in the performance of His greatest work—He chose a Jewish body, but their materialism and their repudiation of spiritual opportunity has negated His use of their racial type again.  It would provide too great a handicap.  The probability is that the Master Jesus will assume (under instruction from the Christ) the part of the Messiah. I don't wish to discount the possibility that a (as prophesied) 'savior-like' figure (perhaps a reincarnation of Assagioli) will arise and help to 'redeem' the nation of Israel, but here is another (possibly complementary) perspective of the matter...
