Jackson Pathfinders is a group of volunteers whose goals are
to preserve open spaces in Jackson, New Jersey, wherever possible
to maintain existing trails in our parks, and
to contribute to a network of land preservation efforts throughout the country.
To achieve these goals, Pathfinders have begun to identify, map, mark, and maintain trails for walking, hiking, jogging, bicycling, and equestrian activities on public - and where permitted - private land.
Our vision is to encourage pride in our community and to gain public support for preserving open space for future generations.

A Jackson Township Organization,
Pathfinders is supported by the Jackson Town Council.
We operate under the direction of the Jackson Recreation Department and work closely with the Town Council in discussing future land acquisitions.
Pathfinders is also the community advocacy group for the Forest Resource Education Center and we are working closely with the Jackson Environmental Commission.
