Yokoso!!
In 1901, Elder Heber J. Grant was the first LDS missionary to open Japan to the restored gospel. Since that time membership of the church in Japan has grown to over 100,000.
The purpose of this list is to discuss the special blessings (and challenges) of being LDS in Japan. It is open to both Japanese and non-Japanese LDS members. If you are Japanese but not a member of the LDS church, but are sincerely interested in the LDS faith, you may also participate. The language of the list will be English, so I hope this will be an incentive for Japanese members to brush up on their English skills. Romaji is also allowed.
We hope you will share your stories, news, insights, questions, etc. Please refer to the periodical reminder for details on what is and isn't appropriate for the list.
