The Ismailism list is a mailing list for the study of Ismailism in all of its forms with a special emphais on Nizari Ismaili Muslim thought and practice. A discussion of Ismaili history, beliefs and practices in all of its forms is encouraged (including other non-traditional Shia sects).
Cross-religious/cultural discussions are particularly welcomed. It is open to all who are interested in participating and in the sharing of knowledge.

The list owner is not an Ismaili and will not enforce any censorship of Ismaili doctrines and practics on this list.

Discussions of the personal life of the Imam-e-zaman will not be forwarded to the list.

This will be a moderated list no exceptions.

Posts which merely parrot critiques from A. Mehereally's works will not be forwarded to the list. These critiques have already been answered numerous times in the archives. Posts which contain original critiques are acceptable as well as rebuttal reponses.

Members should not forward posts from this list to other lists without getting the original posters permission.

Discussion which are forwarded from other lists will not be posted.

News posts are acceptable, tho moderator will delete duplicates or news
stories which seem similar.

Remember this list does not allow attachments to email and those posts will get deleted.

Members who make unfriendly demands or threats on the moderator will be booted from list without comment.
