Dear All Award giving ceremony of the first National e-Content and
ICT for Development Award 2010 will be held at the National Museum on August 9,
2010 at 7 pm. Honourable Finance Minister Abul Mal Abdul Muhith is expected to
be present as the chief guest while State Minister for Science and ICT Yeafesh
Osman will be the special guest. Ministry of Science and ICT, Government of Peoples
Republic of Bangladesh is the host of the contest and D.Net is the organiser of
the contest. The contest was held in 14 categories both for on-line and
off-line content products and ICT interventions and applications. The winners
of the award will be eligible for contesting in World Summit Award 2011. This
contest is endorsed by World Summit Award. The Daily Star and The Daily Prothom Alo is the organising
