Ishmael Houston is a forum dedicated to furthering education in the ideas and lessons taught by Daniel Quinn in his books: Ishmael, The Story of B, My Ishmael, Beyond Civilization, and others. The only requirement for membership is having read at least one Daniel Quinn or Derrick Jensen book.
I started this yahoogroup because I was shocked to find that there was no Ishmael group in Houston, Daniel Quinn’s home. We hold meetings and activities once or twice a month in the Houston area. Our long-term goal is to save the world and build a tribe or a new tribal venture.
This space also serves as a virtual discussion group where we can share ideas, inspiration and information. Netiquette rules are enforced. No spam or commercial posts allowed.
