Description

iSDR is a software defined radio application designed for the Apple iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad families of digital devices. It is a free app targeting experimenters, shortwave listeners, and amateur radio enthusiasts looking for a truly portable software-defined radio receiver.

The iSDR app transforms an Apple device into a multi-touch interface for a sophisticated radio receiver. When used in conjunction with a quadrature sampling detector, and an honest-to-goodness wire antenna, iSDR will allow you to experience live on-air reception of radio signals. iSDR can also play an internal audio file that lets your Apple device realistically demonstrate portable software defined radio in operation.

Please use this group to pose questions, suggestions, tips, and ponderings on topics related to the iSDR iPhone app, and portable SDR in general.

Re: Question from a total newbie
Hello Steve. The KX3 has analog I/Q outputs at audio frequencies already, so the iMic can digitize those I/Q signals, and feed it into the iPad via the camera
