In the presence of a shimmering glass shard, located at the heart of one of England’s most vibrant cities, a crowd of over 2000 people will witness a performance that combines the worlds of Art and Music.
The striking headline performance from Calvin Harris and Novak 3D Disco will be reflected in the challenging architectural form of Urbis, the exhibition centre for urban life.
Prior to the headline performance the Beck’s Fusions Experience, a unique interactive pod hosting dynamic audio visual installations will open in Manchester’s Cathedral Square. Entry is free to all and will take place during the afternoon of Saturday 22nd September
Urbis, Manchester will play host to electro-pop-disco act The Whip, who’s storming live sets including infectious hits ‘Trash’ and ‘Divebomb’ have been hitting dancefloors and summer festivals hard throughout the summer.
Signed to of-the-moment French label Kitsune, their recent accolades include single ‘Frustration’ being named as Track of the Week by Steve Lamacq on 6Music and playlisted by NME Stereo, securing their place as one of the best indie/electro-dance crossovers around at the moment.

Within Fusion's Gallery, selected visual artists will create exclusive new footage set to rare or unheard versions of songs by great bands and vocalists.
Each pairing will be a unique fusion: a leading edge film-maker, video maker, illustrator or digital artist meets a high profile music name who will donate a version of a song they love - to be reimagined by the artist.
The result will be a totally immersive experience, anchored by the familiarity of iconic songs, delivered in a totally new and intriguing way.
The enclosed, ICA curated Beck’s Fusions Pod on Trafalgar Square will be open free to the public on Thursday 6th, Friday 7th and Saturday 8th September, before touring to Dublin on Sunday 16th, Manchester on Saturday 22nd and Glasgow on the 29th September.
