Welcome to the Irish in California group site. We are an expanding group that networks as a family; it's a family environment and it welcomes all those who are Irish of by birth or interest. We also welcome our Celtic brothers and sisters of Scotland, Wales, Brittany, Isle of Man, Galicia, and who can forget the Cornish.

My opinion is that we are all one family separated by forced boundaries and now in America we can embrace our culture and differences. You will find Catholics with Protestants with Wiccans, etc. The purpose of the group is to share everything Irish, and Scottish. I also welcome the Welsh, Bretons, Manx, and Cornish; their events are also shared when available.

We also try to do meetups, we are working on a meetup in every major town in California, but that takes input from the members. We have set up a map that will help show every member where the others are:
