Irish Anarchism is a discussion list primarily for anarchists active in Ireland. Others are welcome to join this list but they should recognise that the protocol below is intended to preserve this list purpose.
1. No person may send more then three posts in any given day to the list or more then one post in any one thread in a any day
2. Posts cannot consist of more then 50% quotations from previous posts.
3. Members of political organisations other then anarchist ones are welcome to join this list for discussion but - don?t send announcement of your party activities or those of its front groups here. - you are limited to one post per day
4. Do not forward mails from other lists or post the contents of a web page unless you have added an introduction about why they are of interest to this list and proposing some activity around the issue. An exception to this are anarchist events in Ireland, articles from Irish anarchist publications or if you are an anarchist events/issues that you are involved with in Ireland. If posting quotes etc from a web page these must comprise 50% or less of your total post.
5. There is to be no flaming on the list
People who fail to respect this protocol will have their right to automatically post to the list removed. All future posts will be moderated.
How moderation works
Several anarchist activists in Ireland are moderators of this list. Any of them may switch someone who sends posts in breach of the protocol to the list to moderated rather then automatic posting rights.
Posts sent to the list from people who are moderated can be approved by any of the lists moderators. If they have not been approved after two days any moderator can reject the post if they send a post to the person outlining the reasons why the post is being rejected. If they have not been approved after one week any moderator may simply delete the post.
