Hi All, This coming sunday 29th Jan sees the first Kerry O event of the new
year in Ri na gCros, Kenmare. It will be event no. 4 in the current Kingdom
League and event no.6 for the RDF S/Bde Winter League. The area is adjacent
to the Park Hotel in the town of Kenmare and accessed from the Golf Club.
As the Golf Club have an event on the same day, they have asked orienteers
to park in Shelbourne street car park and a walk of 200m will bring you to
the Golf Club car park. Registration, starts and finish will take place
here.
Registration will be from 11am to 1 pm; courses close at 3pm. SI timing
will be used. The maps will be pre-printed and in plastic bags. The scale
of the map is 1:2,500.
Course available are as follows:
Blue 7.5km 30c ( with map exchange )
Green 5.4km 23c
Light Green 4.1km 28c
Orange 3.2km 22c
Yellow 2.0km 14c
