Hi All,

Just thought I would let you know how well my solar system did this last year.  My system was installed July 1, 2007.  So I use June 30 as my fiscal year end.

From July 1 ,2008 to June 30, 2009, my 1.56 KW grid tie made 2221 KWH (1423.7 KWH per KW of solar).  My home business consumed 2235 KWH.  So I produced 99.4% of my electricity.  Pretty good design, at least for last year.  Alliant sold me 14 KWH net.

A few more details.  My average usage is 6.12 KWH per day.  Alliant sent me 1477 KWH over the year.  I sent Alliant 1463 KWH over the year.  I calculated that I made and used 758 KWH, with no record showing on the meter.

Dennis, I'm the most amazed with your low consumption level. You're using on average only 186 kWh per month. How'd you get it that low? I think I'm being...

Hi All: Great job Dennis. I like to break down PV production to kWh per month per KW of installed PV. If my math is correct that come out to 118.64 kWh per KW...
